I wrote the same blog post about four years ago. My taste in men has changed since then, but I still want most of the same things. Here's an updated list on what it'll for me to not be single. LOL
- Maturity
I'm too old for games. Don't be the guy that plays games or takes days to respond to texts or to call. If you're not feeling it, just tell me. Be upfront with me, please.
- Positive Attitude (Preferably an optimist)
- Confidence
Conceited ain't cute, honey. There's a difference between being confident and cocky.
- Understanding
I don't have a set schedule with work. I jump from movie to movie, job to job, anything to pay the bills. I don't want a "real" job. I like working in the film industry. I cannot sit in a cubicle or behind a computer for 45 + hours a week and be happy. That is just not me. Also, I've been single for so long that I really enjoy spending time with my friends or having "me" time. I am not the clingy type and clingy guys scare me. I look forward to meeting a guy that I will want to spend a lot of time with, though. I need a guy who is okay with all of that.
- Gentleman
- Has A Social Life
Hopefully he'll have lots of his friends of his own and can do his own thing when I need space.
- Has Ambition
- Family Oriented
